Riddle me this…
“I am neither dead, nor alive, and I’m not something little Madison can hide.
But you will be dead, by the time this is done…
the timer starts now, and the games have just begun…”

Madison Montgomery comes from money and power, but when someone close to her commits the ultimate crime, Madison must live with her tainted name for the rest of her life. When she begins Riverside Preparatory Academy, the private school her father has swept her into in The Hamptons, she hopes for a fresh start. What she wasn’t hoping for was the pack of bad boys who run the school; ten, to be exact. When Madison gains the attention of their leader, Bishop Vincent Hayes, a whole new world that she didn’t think existed is exposed to her. A whole world that starts and ends with The Elite Kings Club and these boys, are about to flip her world upside down. Secrets are overflowing and family lies are about to be exposed. Is there more to Madison Montgomery than even she knows?
About this book:
I need to admit something right now. The Silver Swan is f*cked. It might be the most insane story I’ve ever written with equally insane characters. Who knew? You know, when I started this book, it was supposed to be YA. I wanted to write a book that my sisters could read. A book that won’t have people look at my mum like “damn… what sort of messed up shit happened to your kid?”. The angst, the assholeness, the games, the f**kery, the WHAT THE F**KING F**K ARE YOU DOING???!!!…
I cannot even…. anyway, this is a warning (and the only one I’ll give you). It’s crazy. I don’t compare my work to my others, but this book is f**ked. It will most likely stomp all the f**k over people’s hard limits (and not give a sh*t while it’s doing it) and will make you second guess all the morals you thought you had.
This most definitely is not looking like a love story right now… more like a….. I don’t even….*shakes head* anyway, I apologise now. You asked for it……….

“Nate?” I whisper. “Maybe I took a wrong turn.”
Silence.
“Nate!” I yell down the phone. “This isn’t funny.”
“I’m not laughing, sis. Keep going, we can see your headlights.” What am I doing? I’m basically relying on the fact that Nate and I had bonded a little and that both our parents are together. I’m not sure those facts are worth my life. No, he wouldn’t. I’m just being paranoid. The only time, except for school, where I didn’t bring my fucking pistol either. I sag in defeat. My dad will not be impressed with my not carrying, and my mom will no doubt be screaming at me from the other side about how these are the reasons why she and my dad educated me so much on firearms. I’ve failed as a fucking daughter. I shuffle up in my seat.
“Nate, I don’t fucking see anything up here but ja—OMG!” I slam on the breaks, all four tires locking up in a skid. I squeeze the steering wheel tightly, banging down the locks on the doors. “Nate!” I yell into the phone.
Silence.
Slowly, I look up out the front windscreen, the thick dust from my tires interrupting the loose gravel still floating in the air and that’s when I see it again.
Ten men.
Ten dark hoodies covering their faces.
Ten—“Nate..” understanding sets in. Ten.
Slamming the gear into reverse, I’m just about to floor it backwards—to hell with anything or anyone behind me—when my driver’s window smashes into a million pieces, the tiny shards of glass falling onto my lap. I scream, my hands coming up to shield my face just as an arm slips inside and pops up the lock.
A deep menacing chuckle breathes over the back of my neck just as a leather gloved hand wraps around my mouth and pulls me out of the car. “Hello Madison. You don’t know us, but we know you. We want to play a game. Here’s what happens if you lose…”
Amo is a full-time writer from New Zealand who loves long romantic walks to the wine cellar.

She loves to write like how she lives, hanging on the edge of insanity with a wine glass in one hand and her morals-or lack thereof- in the other.

Oh those hellhounds? Yeah, those are mine.

Title: The Neighborhood
Author: Stylo Fantome
Series: Twin Estates #2
Genre: Adult, Contemporary, Romance
Release Date: January 17, 2017
Rating: 3.5 Stars

SummaryThings a bad neighbor can do to you:

1. Have loud parties late at night

2. Refuse to mow his lawn

3. Steal your newspapers

4. Rip your heart out and walk all over it

Katya Tocci is willing to admit that she may have bitten off more than she could chew.

Liam Edenhoff showed her a side of life she’d been missing out on – sex and friendship and tacos. But then he betrayed her.

Wulfric Stone taught her that big surprises can come from unexpected places – like from a surly, aggressive, withdrawn bastard. But then he broke her heart.

Now one of them wants forgiveness, and the other wants forever. And Katya? She just wants to forget.

Who knew neighbors could be so difficult?

This story contains scenes of a graphic sexual nature, multiple uses of coarse language, and quite possibly enough confusion to drive a normal person insane. Reader discretion is advised.

The Neighborhood is about Katya, our protagonist, is stuck between two very different, but incredible guys. After the events of Neighbors, Katya feels betrayed, hurt, and a little vengeful. The Neighborhood deals with Katya’s progression through the pain to gaining confidence while contemplating which boy is the right one for her.

This book surprised me. Not only were there some nice twists that I didn’t expect, but the tone of this book is different than the first one. The Neighborhood felt deeper and more profound than Neighbors. Self-reflection, enlightenment, and finding who “you” are is a frequent theme, especially towards the end. We also get a deeper understanding of the characters, their fears and goals, as well as previous experiences that made them who they are today.

Don’t be alarmed though, there is romance in this book. A lot of romance, so you will get your fill of steamy, hot action. The two suitors couldn’t be more different in my opinion. Liam is literally the boy-next-door. He has a fun, joyful, laid-back personality that makes it easy to adore him. But he doesn’t hold a candle to my main man, Wulf (even his name is intense). Wulf is a more toned-down, empathic (well, more emphatic) version of Jameson Kane from Stylo Fantome’s Kane Trilogy. He’s that “manly” man if that makes sense. He’s driven, confident, and demanding. He doesn’t deal with bullshit and always gets what he wants. I mean, what else do you look for in a man?

When it came to our heroine, Katya, I have mixed feelings. Although she learns from her mistakes and begins to transform into a better person, I just didn’t like the way she handled the situation originally. I understand why she did what she did, but it doesn’t make me like her any better.

Despite Katya’s unsavory decision, the journey towards her self-discovery made this book better. I know the romance industry is convoluted with so many books, and it can be overwhelming to choose one, but I highly recommend Stylo Fantome’s books. Give this series a try if you like romances, dominant males, and a strong character development.

P.S. if you haven’t read the Kane Trilogy then I feel sorry for you. You are a missing out on  THE Jameson Kane, A.K.A. Satan.

Summary: Amber Tate believes the worst thing she’ll suffer in life is dealing with the unrequited love she feels for her brother’s best friend, Rylen Fite. She also believes war is something unfortunate that happens places far, far away from her rural Nevada town. She’s wrong on both counts.

When an unknown organization meticulously bombs major cities in the United States and across the globe, a trickle-down effect spreads to remaining towns at an alarming speed—everything from food and water sources to technology and communications are compromised. Without leadership, the nation is split between paralysis and panic, but Amber isn’t one to hide or watch helplessly. She’s determined to put her nursing skills to use, despite the danger, even if it means working alongside the man she can never have.

In this first installment of NY Times bestselling author, Wendy Higgins’s debut New Adult series, a frighteningly realistic apocalyptic America is brought to life, entwined with searing romantic tension that will leave you eager for more.

Fortunately, the wait isn’t too long, but unfortunately, we have to wait. Bring on the swoon-worthy romance and life-threatening action!

Now, at the start of her high school senior year, between dealing with her grieving, distracted father, and the social nightmare that has become her life, CeCe just wants to fly under the radar. Instead, she’s volunteering at the school’s crisis hotline—the same place her mother worked.

As she counsels troubled strangers, CeCe’s lingering suspicions about her mom’s death surface. With the help of Sam, a new student and newspaper intern, she starts to piece together fragmented clues that point to a twisted secret at the heart of her community. Soon, finding the truth isn’t just a matter of restoring her mother’s reputation, it’s about saving lives—including CeCe’s own…

Goodreads | Amazon | Barnes & Noble

Suspects from The Darkest Lie

Six months ago, CeCe’s mom allegedly committed suicide after she was accused of having sex with a student. However, when CeCe volunteers at the crisis hotline, she discovers that Tabitha Brooks’s death is not as straightforward as it appears. In fact, her mom might have been . . . murdered.

Who could’ve been responsible for Tabitha Brooks’ death?

Suspect #1 – Mr. Willoughby

Ty Willoughby is a high school psychology teacher. He is also a faculty advisor for the crisis hotline, which is run through the school. He is obsessed with comic books and wears superhero t-shirts. His wife passed away two decades ago, and he has not publicly dated since. He knew CeCe’s mom, Tabitha, first as a student and then as a colleague. He admits to having had a crush on her.

Suspect #2 – Mackenzie Myers

Mackenzie is the reigning princess of Lakewood High. She is the richest girl in town and also has the biggest ass. Her favorite pastime is bullying underclassmen — and anyone who dares to cross her. She once dated Tommy Farrow, the boy with whom Tabitha allegedly had an affair, and she will do whatever it takes to make sure the past stays buried.

Suspect #3 – Mr. Winters

Jovial, charming Mr. Winters is the principal of the school. He is a good-looking man who is well-liked by the students. He has lived through scandal, too — his wife, who used to be the school’s guidance counselor, had an affair and left him. He tells CeCe that the staff of Lakewood High are his family, and he will protect them at all costs. Since Tabitha was a teacher at the school, his protection extends to CeCe, as well.

Suspect #4 — Justin Blake

Justin is Tommy Farrow’s best friend. In the months after Tabitha’s death, he was CeCe’s biggest tormentor. He sexually harassed her on a daily basis, and now that he and his friends have graduated, CeCe feels like she can finally achieve her goal of being invisible. But Justin is not gone. He is still a presence on the high school social scene and is fiercely protective of Tommy. He does everything in his power to make sure CeCe doesn’t speak to Tommy.

Suspect #5 — Mr. Swift

Mr. Swift is CeCe’s study hall teacher. He seems a little too involved in his student’s affairs. He asks the yearbook staff for photos of the girls in the senior class for a special “project.” He also has a copy of an inappropriate photograph on his desk.

So, there you have it! These are the suspects in The Darkest Lie! Who do you think could have killed Tabitha Brooks? Or was her death a suicide, after all?

Who could have done it? It could be anyone or no one and I can’t wait for the reveal! I love a mystery filled with more than a few possible candidates and motives.

He also convinced her to marry him, and when their idyllic summer on Roanoke Island comes to an end, the newlyweds relocate to their new home deep in the heart of Virginia’s horse and wine country. Ian still struggles with boundaries, but he keeps Kate’s lingerie drawer filled with surprises, and there’s no shortage of number-six kisses. Ian promised Kate that life with him would never be boring, but spending her days picking out paint colors and going to Pilates isn’t going to cut it. To make matters worse, the hacktivists are threatening national security, and the task force could really use Ian’s help.

Kate and Ian have always worried that their past would catch up to them, and when faced with the biggest showdown of their lives, they must capitalize on the one thing they excel at most: teamwork.
